On September 16, heavy rainfall occurred in Chenggong District of Kunming, causing a flood control emergency at Kunming Metro's Daliyuan Depot. As the waterproofing and leakage control unit for Kunming Metro, Yunnan Xincheng Jurong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xincheng Jurong) responded promptly to the flood situation and fought against it. Under the leadership of Project Manager Li Yun, the construction team shouldered their responsibilities, fearlessly braved the heavy rain to accelerate progress, and fully assisted Kunming Metro Operation Co., Ltd. in completing various emergency rescue tasks. They successfully accomplished the emergency rescue and leakage sealing construction tasks, earning praise from the client with their dedication and professional expertise, and winning the battle of emergency rescue.

Around 7:40 AM on September 16, heavy rainfall caused rainwater to rapidly accumulate outside Gate 2 of Kunming Metro's Daliyuan Depot, which then flowed backward into the depot. This led to severe water accumulation around the depot's comprehensive building, with large amounts of water leaking through gaps in cable well pipes behind the building into the underground garage. As a result, the underground garage, following stations, and elevators were flooded, seriously affecting the safe operation of Kunming Metro. Kunming Metro promptly activated its emergency response plan, simultaneously mobilizing rescue forces from various specialties including operations, power supply, maintenance coordination, security, and waterproofing and leakage control. These teams rushed to the site at the fastest speed to handle the situation, once again demonstrating their efficient and professional emergency response capabilities.

As the person in charge of the company's participation in this rescue mission, Comrade Li Yun responded immediately to the undeniable emergency rescue task. He organized the rescue team and, following the instructions and overall deployment of Kunming Metro Operation Co., Ltd., orderly completed emergency tasks such as blocking and handling the entrances and exits of the comprehensive building's underground garage, clearing accumulated water, and performing emergency repairs for basement leaks.
